Are you looking for a holiday home in Apulia? Then you have come to the right place, Nature.house offers you several holiday homes in this beautiful region of Italy. Apulia is located in the boot of Italy, bordering the Ionian and Adriatic Sea. The region is located only 80 kilometres from the Albanian coast, making it the most eastern region in Italy. In this region, most olives are produced in Italy.

In addition to the many seaside resorts that are very popular with tourists, there are fortunately also a lot of places in Apulia where you can retreat to a holiday home and fully enjoy all the nature in this region.

Especially the densely wooded interior of Apulia is very popular with nature lovers. But also the mountains on the north side are definitely worth a visit. Here you will find a rich and varied flora and fauna. Including the ibex, this animal lives on the steep mountain slopes and can be observed during a long walk. The best chance of seeing an ibex is during the twilight in the morning or evening.

More towards the Apennine mountain range is the Dauno nature reserve. This nature reserve is characterized by sloping slopes of up to 1100 meters or higher. Although the coastal region is very popular among mass tourism, there are also on the various rocky coasts of the region enough quiet places where you can enjoy nature.

The last two places you should definitely visit when you book a holiday home Apulia on Nature.house are: National Park dell'Alta Murgia and National Park Gargano. The first national park is mainly known for its vast plains, where wolves still occur. If you are very lucky you can see a wolf with your own eyes! In the Gargano National Park that chance is considerably smaller, this park consists mainly of forests and not so much of vast meadows. This National Park is more popular with tourists and therefore more accessible. Here you will find birds such as hops, bee-eaters and red-headed shrikes.
