Disconnect from the hustle and bustle in our pretty, recently renovated, home set in over 7 ha of natural beauty only 30 metres from your own beach on the river Tarn. Ideal also for walkers and cyclists it is perfect in winter as well as summer - everyone who visits describes it as paradise. Our gîte has a well equipped kitchen and cosy living area with a feature rock wall (the house is built directly into the rock face). There is a king size bed in the upstairs bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. There are lots of things to do in the locale, including beautiful caves, the wolf reserve and the Przewalski's horses but your outside terrace, overlooking the River Tarn and your private beach, with BBQ, table, chairs and sun chairs gives you the perfect excuse if you choose to stay put and enjoy the surroundings.All linen is provided.Canoes are available to use at no cost.

We have otters and beavers in the river every day, regular deer visits, kingfishers, vultures, badgers, mouflon, pine marten, the occasional wild boar (at night) as well as our two resident miniature goats Dandelion and Waterlily. The variety of butterflies and dragonflies here is incredible. So far we have recorded over 200 species here including 6 types of orchid, insects, fungi, reptiles, birds and we have yet to start recording trees. If you want to eat out then the pretty village of Sainte-Enimie is just 3.5km away with bars restaurants and artisan boutiques.
