A beautiful modern and spacious natural cottage with a fun tower. The house is located on the edge of El Romo at an altitude of a few hundred meters. It is (almost) at the top of the mountain, on the road between Colmenar and Comares. The Nature house is located on the southern slope, in a place where the sun shines directly at sunrise. The sun shines all day around the house, so this house is also suitable for early spring to late fall (and even winter!). There are no visible houses around the house and you can't see or hear the road either. There are no houses below, above or directly next to the house, so you are completely free and have a wonderful view of Comares. The outside area of the house is spacious, the house has its own driveway and in the (fenced) front area you can park up to 10 cars. Then you still have all the space around the house and around the pool. Recently the landlords installed air conditioning in two bedrooms (on the advice of guests). The cost of the air conditioning is included in the high season. In the other seasons you pay € 50, - per week if you want to use the air conditioning. You must indicate this in advance.

The Nature house is located 30 kilometers from the Costa del Sol, the busy, touristy coast of southern Spain. It is quietly situated on the edge of the hamlet of El Romo and has a beautiful view over the valley with a few houses here and there and a view of the village of Comares on the hill diagonally opposite the house. Comares is a characteristic white village built on the top of the hill (as a lookout for the Moors). There are houses nearby, but they are all far enough to have complete privacy in the house, but also in the swimming pool and on the various terraces. The house sits on a large fenced plot a few hundred meters above sea level. The garden extends to the river (which is dry in summer). Comares is located in the Axarquia, a region full of olive trees, almond trees, grapes and citrus fruits. The region is very green and fertile. Close to Comares is the Montes de Málaga National Park, Lake Vinuela, a little further away is the Torcal (a rocky lunar landscape) and the Fuente de Piedra (a large salt lake). From the Nature house you can see birds of prey flying and hear owls, crickets, donkeys and dogs.
