My grandfather had Uut en Tuus built for my grandmother in 1954. Uut en Tuus has the charm of a 1950s house, but is now fully equipped. It has a spacious, bright living/dining room with a sliding door to a large terrace. There is 1 large bedroom (with sink) with 2 adjacent single beds, a small bedroom with a bed of 1.40 and a small bedroom with a bed of 1.20 with space for a camp bed or an extra mattress. There is a shower room with a sink. Uut en Tuus is located on a dike and has a large enclosed garden with several terraces. In the shed there are 4 bicycles and a BBQ. Uut en Tuus is just a 4-minute walk to the beautiful Zeeuwsvlaamse beach: wide and without high-rise buildings. At the campsite across the street you can buy fresh rolls. Dogs are also welcome.Be surprised by this cozy house with lots of light. And enjoy the beach, tranquility and space.

Uut en Tuus is a 4-minute walk from the beach. The beautiful Zeeland beach is characterized by pile heads, a wide beach and several beach tents within walking distance. Right at the beach entrance is the cozy beach tent StrandRuig. The beach tents are usually open year-round. The beach is great when the weather is nice, but it is also great in other seasons! There is a nice walking/biking path on the dunes. Inland you arrive at the nature reserve the (drowned) Zwarte Polder and the recently constructed nature park Waterdunen. To the west lies the Zwin. This nature park is on the border with Belgium. The Belgian seaside resort of Knokke is within cycling distance. Also the nice towns of Retranchement, Groede, Sluis and Bruges are easy to reach by bike. A little further away are Antwerp and Ghent. By ferry you can cross the Westerschelde and visit Middelburg and Vlissingen.
