Putten is surrounded by forest, heath and edge lakes and for the nature lover an ideal region. In spring one can enjoy fresh green leaves, lambs in the meadow and beautiful flowers. Summer days lend themselves perfectly to pastimes along the border lakes or relaxing in the shade in the woods. Summer ends with picturesque purple moors. In autumn all the beautiful fall colors, mushrooms and the belling deer can be admired. During a harsh winter, ice skating can be done on the Nuldernauw.The center of Putten is full of atmospheric restaurants and extensive shopping. Putten is also a very conveniently located municipality. Not only is Putten easy to drive to from the Randstad, there are also many tourist attractions nearby such as the Apenheul, Palace 't Loo and Nulde beach.
