Available again in summer 2023: freely located in a nature reserve in Skåne (without direct neighbors), 800 km from the Netherlands and near lakes (one at 400 meters) and castles (one at 1.5 km). This was once a miller's house, reflected in the baking oven in the house and the remains of the nearby mill on the hill next to it. Beautiful woodwork, beams, windows and doors and furnishings create an atmosphere of going back in time appropriate to the environment. Basic features: living room with fireplace, living kitchen with wood stove. Small bathroom with toilet and shower, hairdryer and washing machine. Three double bedrooms, beds for 6 people and a child (antique crib). Wifi, TV and digital music system available. Dryer, freezer and barbecue in the barn. The Snogeholm nature reserve is 20 km from the sea and the town of Ystad (from Wallander series). The long-distance hiking trail Skaneleden crosses the area. The farm has a lovely large garden that turns into forest and hills. Lots of wildlife to see, also from the house. Marked hiking and riding trails, a good cycling environment and a canoe can be provided. Fishing boat for rent at 2 km. Only local motorized traffic allowed so in the garden you can enjoy the silence and the sounds of wildlife and birds. There are also several national parks within an hour's drive. About all the nice places and tours in the area you will get a lot of information in advance so you don't have to figure it out yourself. Trips to the cities of Malmö and Lund, within an hour's drive. Copenhagen is less than 1.5 hours. It is a half hour drive to several beautiful beaches but also e.g. to a zoo. This house is also easy to reach within a day from the Netherlands.
