Nature house in Ortigueira

This nature house consists of a former river mill, ecologically restored, located in the heart of the "Rias Altas" region of Galicia, near Ortigueira, Cariño and Cedeira, in the region of Ortegal. A comfortable and independent form of rural retreat: fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, garden furniture.

The River Mera is a clear river whose valley and banks have been declared an area of common interest and included in the Natura 2000 network, so they are protected. From the mills you can take the path of the river for a nice walk or to the Pozo de la Caldeira for swimming. On hot days it is a delight! A few minutes from the house you will find some of the most breathtaking landscapes of Spain such as the famous cliffs of Capelada and Loiba, Cape Ortegal or Punta Candieira, tourist sites such as the ancient sanctuary of San Andrés de Teixido, the villages of Cedeira, Cariño, Ortigueira, O Barqueiro or Estaca de Bares, ripe waves and some of the most beautiful and wild beaches in Galicia (such as Morouzos, Fornos, Vilarrube, Esteiro, Pantín...).
