The immediate surroundings of Jarsaillon are suitable for hiking and cycling. It is one of the few areas in France where many bicycle paths are being built: Voie Verte. This allows you to stay on the bike paths or small roads for miles uninterrupted. Touring and motorcycling on the quiet roads is also a pleasure and you are not quickly bored. At 8 kilometers is the charming, thermal spa town of Bourbon-Lancy, with quaint old streets. Here you can also go for all your shopping. In 10 minutes (by car) you are on the banks of the Loire, great for cooling off during a hot day. There are many interesting cities nearby such as Moulins (40 kilometers), Vichy (70 kilometers) and Autun (70 kilometers). For the children, Le Pal amusement park/zoo is well worth a visit, only half an hour away.
