Sleeping at this B&B means waking up in breathtaking natural surroundings. Hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails. Endless mountain bike routes and even a canoe route/sup route right outside the door (read driveway). The farmhouse is hidden in the green and is almost not visible from the country road. The view is phenomenal! Each nature house has its own terrace and the 5000 m² wild garden offers plenty of opportunity to relax. Amenities: breakfast and packed lunch (included), free coffee and tea and each room has its own terrace. The single rooms use the sanitary room in the hall, with two showers and two toilets. The double and triple rooms have their own shower and toilet. In the breakfast room in the conservatory there is also the opportunity to relax with a cup of tea or wine and a good book. There is a sofa and a refrigerator and it is the ideal space to enjoy the setting sun.

The farm is situated between three nature reserves: the Drents Friese Wold, the Fochteloer Veen and the Compagnonsbossen. Most striking is the silence, you hear and see no traffic here, you only hear the rustling of the wind and the birds. From the driveway you can walk straight into the Compagnonsbossen and in five cycling minutes you are in the Fochteloer Veen. The Drents Friese Wold is a huge nature area, where you are within 10 cycling minutes in the middle. But if you like cosiness, the location of the nature house is ideal. City of Groningen is 40 minutes by car, as well as Leeuwarden. The closest cozy villages are Diever, Dwingeloo, Havelte and Orvelte. Appelscha and Smilde are three kilometers from the farm. The centuries-old Veenhuizen with its charming Maallust brewery is 14 kilometers from Ravenswoud. The route to it takes you right through the Fochteloer Veen and is unimaginably beautiful. Cranes also nest here.
