Get a breath of fresh air and enjoy yourself in West Zeeland Flanders. The nature house is a detached house where you are completely independent. The house has an equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom and study. It also has a sunny garden and private parking. In the spacious, modern bathroom (ground floor) you will find a bathtub, separate walk-in shower and toilet, as well as a washing machine and dishwasher. Coffee, tea and toilet paper are provided for the first few days. Beds are made upon arrival and there are plenty of towels. Please bring your own beach towels. Turkeye is a small hamlet about one kilometer from the Belgian border with 20 old houses. The nature house is very bright and suitable for all seasons. Heating is by central heating. Under the mill in IJzendijke is the nearest supermarket (three kilometers) and at the Belgian bakery in Watervliet you can get bread and cakes and treat yourself to a Belgian pie. You have free access to WiFi and digital TV. It is possible to come with a baby. A crib can be placed in the study. Please note that there is an open stairwell and you have to go through the study to the bedroom.

Behind the house begins a nature reserve that runs along the Line. This nature reserve is partly inaccessible to dogs, but the unpaved polder road runs around it. The views are beautiful.For cyclists there is an extensive network of junctions to which you can connect, in the Netherlands and Belgium. The routes run along polder roads, creeks, fields, nature reserves, bird-watching points, small villages and the coast. Between Hoofdplaat and Breskens, the bike path runs more or less through the sea and with a little luck you will see seals lying on the sandbanks at low tide (bring binoculars). Beautiful nature reserves are the Verdronken Zwarte Polder, De Braakman (not the vacation park), bird area at theetuin In de Morelleput and of course 't Zwin. The Wallenroute in Retranchement (French for entrenchment or stronghold) is a walk of about 40 minutes where you walk between hawthorn hedges, pools and grassland. If you want to take a long walk, you can walk from Breskens to Cadzand, 17 kilometers. A visit to Ghent or Bruges is definitely worthwhile. Within 30 to 40 minutes by car you are there. The beach of Breskens is 10 minutes away (14 kilometers) and there you can take the boat to Vlissingen to visit Middelburg, Veere or Domburg. This is exclusively a foot and bike boat.
