This is a nature house on the second floor with a private sitting area of 15 square meters downstairs with an unobstructed view over the fields. The cottage has two spacious cozy rooms with a sitting area, a dining area, kichenette with coffee and tea, shower, toilet and a spacious bedroom with a double bed where there is also a rocking chair. From the rooms you look over the meadows where cows walk in summer. It stands near a young cattle rearing farm where you can get a guided tour if you like. There is also a Beekeeper who can tell you all about the world of bees. The landlords sell the real beekeeper's honey, along with homemade jam from 75% fruits in the hive located on the property. On the other side of the farm there are five sites for campers. From the farm you can enjoy biking or hiking in the area.

The farm is two kilometers from the German border. You can cycle nicely with the junction route, there is one near the nature house. Through the Aa strang you can cycle to Bocholt. Or to the border village of Dinxperlo, where on one side of a border road are the Dutch houses and on the other side the German houses, here is also the border museum. There are beautiful castles in the vicinity, such as Kasteel de Slangenburg, Kasteel Wasserburg in Anholt and Kasteel Huis Bergh. There are nice shopping towns nearby such as; Winterswijk, Ulft, Varsseveld, Doetinchem, Bocholt {overlooking the Arkaden}. If you are in winterswijk, you can also visit Obelink, a very large camping store. Hiking along the Rhine can be done nicely in Rees or in Emmerich just across the German border. If you like wild animals there is a small animal park in Anholt; Biotop Wildpark in a wooded area. You can eat at van Hal at a mill, here you can eat well and in nice weather you can enjoy the view.
