This beautiful nature house is located in the Sierra del Viento, which is ten minutes away from the town of Puerto Lumbreras. On this beautiful estate of no less than 24 hectares planted with almond trees, olive trees and a vineyard there are three houses. This nature house suitable for six people consists of two houses, one of 105 m² and another of 50 m². The large house can accommodate four people and has two bedrooms (one with two beds and one with a double bed) and two bathrooms with shower and toilet, a spacious living room (with sofa bed), a separate large kitchen and a large covered terrace. The small cottage is suitable for two persons and has a living room with open kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Both cottages are equipped with a wood stove, and in spring and summer you can also use the swimming pool with a reed-covered terrace. Next to the house is a lovely large round stone barbecue where you can enjoy the Spanish temperatures until the late hours. The two cottages can only be rented in combination.

About an hour and a half drive from Alicante you arrive in an oasis of peace with beautiful wide views and impressive rugged nature. For birdwatchers it is a paradise; there are many birds to be seen that you don't see in the Netherlands and you don't even have to leave the grounds to see them! For example, there are bee-eaters, dabblers, different kinds of owls, (snake) eagles, hoopoes but also wheatears and shrikes. Wild boar and badgers can be found in the valley. Tourists will hardly be seen here. In the vicinity there is plenty of entertainment; in Puerto Lumbreras there are several restaurants where you can eat authentic Spanish food for little money and on Fridays there is a market. The nearby cities such as Lorca (20 minutes) and Murcia (45 minutes) are also worth a visit. The Spanish sandy beaches of Aguilas and San Juan de los Terreros (30 minutes) or the hipper Mojacar (45 minutes) are easily accessible. We also recommend the Al-Hambra in Granada which is a two hour drive from the nature house. In short, if you really want to relax and get away from it all, this is a great place!
