The cottage is within walking distance of the sea and is 2 km from the town of Ballylickey. The living room with fireplace is tastefully decorated and furnished. There is a large garden with a lawn, begging you to unwind and enjoy the view. Ballylickey is situated in the heart of sparkling Bantry Bay, between Bantry and Glengariff. You'll find a number of pubs and fine restaurants here. The spectacular landscape of western Cork is known worldwide. To the southwest of Ballylickey lie the stunning Sheep's Head and Goat's Path, and the marvelous Hungry Hill is to the northwest. The location of this cottage ensures that it's the perfect place to start exploring western Cork and to walk the famous Ring of Beara and Ring of Kerry. Both offer dazzling routes along the sea and mountains, overflowing with historic and archaeological sites. There is a water sports centre in Adrigole (25 km), where you can go kayaking, swimming, sailing, and more. Golf lovers will find two courses in Glengariff and Bantry.
