If you are looking for a nice, cozy cottage in nature to spend your vacation, this nature house is ideal. You are surrounded by the beautiful nature so typical of the Quercy in the south of France. Located below Cahors and above Toulouse you will find beautiful untouched forests and fields with lap roses, sunflowers, orchids and hundreds of other flowers and plants, each blooming in its season. Since the nature house is at the end of a road, you can hardly hear cars. But you do hear the roar of deer, the play of wild boars, frogs, owls, orioles and nightingales. Ideal to bring your dog, which may run free, as the landlords' chickens are in a run. Nature is important, but also in the nature house you will find every comfort. There is a well-equipped kitchen with stove, oven and microwave. The living room is also well equipped with sofas, a large TV and a Hi-Fi. And for a good night's sleep there are comfortable beds. The terrace, with dining table, deck chairs, parasol and barbecue, is a good place to spend the day or evening, enjoying a glass of rosé while the sun sets.

The ancient town of Lauzerte sits high atop a hill and can be seen from miles away. It has great architecture and a fascinating history. It is a beautiful Bastide, of which there are many in the vicinity. The St.Jaques Compostelle hiking trail also runs through it. Although it has not yet been discovered by tourists, there is much to do. Hiking, horseback riding, cycling, swimming (there are two beautiful swimming lakes 10 minutes drive from the nature house), golf, tennis, etcetera. There are also activities such as music and markets, basically all year round. And of course the organized events, such as Brocantes, Marché Gourmands (cozy evenings where you can eat at long tables) and farmers' markets. Famous places near the nature house are Toulouse (70 kilometers), Cahors (40 kilometers) and Montauban (30 kilometers). The nature house is four kilometers from Lauzerte, not too far for the delicious hot croissants at breakfast. The cottage is located in freedom in the grounds of a former farm.
