An authentic, sweet nature house with charming garden in Turkeye, a small hamlet in western Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. With the renovation, the landlords took into account as much as possible old details, combined with comfort. The colorful garden has a sunny location and the large cherry tree in the middle also provides plenty of shade.The cottage is equipped with a kitchenette. You sleep under a romantic French roof with old beadboards and exposed beams. Adjacent to the bedroom is the bathroom with bathtub on legs. The bathroom has a separate shower, toilet and sink.WiFi and interactive TV are available.The cottage is located on a dike and only accessible by a small staircase. You are staying in the middle of the countryside. Depending on the season there may be more (tractor) traffic. The cottage has a partially open stairwell and is therefore not suitable for children or people with mobility problems. Babies who can't crawl/walk yet is no problem (bring your own cot). Unfortunately, the blue Art Deco wood stove is broken.

Behind the house begins a nature reserve that runs along the Line. This nature reserve is partly inaccessible to dogs but the unpaved polder road runs around it. For cyclists there is an extensive network of nodes where you can connect. Both in the Netherlands and Belgium. The routes run along polder roads, creeks, fields, nature reserves, bird-watching points, small villages and the coast. Between Hoofdplaat and Breskens the bike path runs more or less through the sea and with a little luck you can see the seals lying on the sandbanks at low tide (bring binoculars). Beautiful nature reserves are the Verdronken Zwarte Polder, De Braakman (not the vacation park), bird area at theetuin In de Morelleput and of course 't Zwin. The Wallenroute in Retranchement is a walk of about 40 minutes where you walk between hawthorn hedges, pools and grassland. If you want a long walk you can walk from Breskens to Cadzand, 17 kilometers.
