You are looking out over the plain where in 217 BCE the battle between Hannibal and the Romans happened. The swimming pool is only 20m away. You share it with five apartments on the hill. Supermarket, post office, bank and restaurants can be found in Tuoro (3km). La Torre is furnished in a snug and cozy way. In 2001, a meticulous restoration took place. The tower structure was maintained and a romantic holiday home was created , adapted to the needs of today. If you're lucky, you will be accompanied by numerous fireflies during summer evenings on the terrace. At 4 km you'll find a lake with nice sandy beach. It's wonderful to swim here. The area offers numerous opportunities for excursions. Think of historical Cortona (20km). Or Umbria's capital, Perugia (30km). The Etruscan town of Arezzo (35km) is also well worth visiting; here you can visit the remains of the amphitheater. Assisi (60km) is also an absolute must.
