Though the building is in a traditional design, the holiday apartment that has been created inside offers a fresh modern ambience. With its many light colours and its spacious layout, this is an extremely comfortable accommodation. Though there isn't a garden, there is a balcony that you can access directly from the living room. This is a great spot for eating breakfast, lunch and dinner on sunny days. Or simply relaxing of course. But there might be an even better option if you are looking for relaxation: There is a wellness area on the ground floor that rivals a professional spa. An infrared sauna, a jacuzzi, showers, lounge chairs, you will find it all here under the light of a colour-changing wall lamp. But this can be a risky pastime: Once you have made yourself comfortable it will be hard to tear yourself away. There is a television with a Google Chromecast available in the holiday home, you can easily stream to the television from your smartphone, tablet or pc. If you are looking for some entertainment outside the accommodation you will find plenty in the surrounding area. On the border of the High Fens and the Volcanic Eifel, the area offers hiking, cycling (including the renowned Ravel routes), water sports at Bütgenbach Lake, and cross-country skiing. The famed town of Monschau is a great destination, and Malmedy and Eupen are also nice to visit.
