You will stay in the recently renovated and attractively decorated part of the farmhouse of Mark and Merle van de Watering - van Oosten. The very spacious country suite has a bedroom with bathroom on the 1st floor, accessible via a spiral staircase. There is a 2-person king-size bed and a 1-person box bed in the bedroom. Downstairs is the spacious living/dining room, which is fully equipped. This is also where the delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread, fruit and various local products is served for you in the morning. For your horse(s) there are paddocks available. In the new barn (2021) there are 3 spacious outdoor stalls, a washing area with hot and cold water and space to hang your harness and possibly stable a carriage. Your dog is welcome, but please consult us.

The B&B is located in the beautiful countryside of Markelo, Overijssel, between the estates Verwolde, Ampsen, Westerflier and Weldam. The cycling and riding/men's route run right past 't Nieuwe Rierink, and you can walk from the B&B along the Schipbeek or Bolksbeek. Nearby are the Kattenberg, the Markelose berg and the Herikerberg where you can make beautiful and interesting walks. The Borkeld is located on the other side of Markelo and is a beautiful forest and heath area where you can walk around for hours and can spot large grazers running loose there. The B & B is 100m from the border with the Achterhoek, and within fifteen minutes by car you are on the Lochemse Berg, also a beautiful area for walking.
