The B&B is next to the Hansel and Gretel house owned by us, sisters Loes and Marja Zomer. The large front garden is freely accessible to our guests. If you would like to meet our alpacas and chickens behind our house, we would be happy to make an appointment. The B&B consists of 3 rooms of about 30m2 each. The rooms have their own entrance, a private covered terrace and a private bathroom. In this first corner room there is also a kitchenette where a simple meal can be prepared. We like to keep nature in all its forms intact. Therefore, we only work with nature-friendly products and therefore you will discover weeds and other spontaneous flora here and there. When the weather is nice, butterflies, bees and bumblebees fly around happily. Because we are not connected to a sewer, we have chosen the most environmentally friendly solution for the wastewater, a helophyte filter (a marsh or reed filter).

Under the smoke of Amsterdam, with us you will enjoy peace, water, forest and meadow, and the many (water) birds that use the area as a refuge, resting and foraging place. And if you like fishing, you are guaranteed a good catch. Oostwoud is within sailing and cycling distance of Hoorn, Medemblik and Enkhuizen, among others (in the middle of the historical triangle). The museum steam streetcar from Hoorn to Medemblik whizzes by a stone's throw away. In short, whether you come for rest, culture or prefer a sporting challenge, with us you are at the right place!
