In the ancient mound village of Hamingen with 8 farms is our beautiful converted farmhouse with apartment. The nature house has its own entrance and parking space. The apartment consists of a living room, kitchen, enclosed bedroom and a bathroom with shower. In the bedroom there are 2 comfortable single beds, a baby bed can be added if necessary. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a fridge freezer and an oven. The whole apartment has underfloor heating. The terrace in front of the apartment is private. In addition, guests can use our garden with fruit trees, raspberries, berries, strawberries and herbs. In the garden there are several terraces where you can enjoy nature. Any bicycles can be stored in the a locked shed. The apartment is comfortable, cozy and has a pleasant, rural atmosphere.

The surroundings of Hamingen are very suitable for cycling and hiking. Deer, hares, meadow birds and storks can be seen in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. Hamingen is a hamlet in the special municipality of Staphorst (6 km). Staphorst is special because of its colorful farms, costumes and traditions. 4 km away is the cozy provincial town of Meppel with nice stores, restaurants and cozy terraces. The nature reserves the Weerribben and the Wieden are nearby. In Giethoorn you can enjoy boating or canoeing. Also the Reest valley, forestry Staphorst, the Dwingelderveld and the dolmens near Havelte are within 20 km. Other nice towns like Blokzijl, Vollenhove and Steenwijk are also worth a visit.
