Welcome to this little forest cabin, a wooden chalet, where the landlord has lived very happily for 15 years. Last year he thoroughly renovated his chalet, insulating floor and walls, double glazing, renovated bathroom, had a heat pump installed and gave the house a new color. The cottage consists of two sections. There is a living/kitchen area that consists of almost half of the windows. In this section is the kitchen with gas stove and a spacious corner sofa with table. The other space I call the living-bedroom. This space is divided in two by a room divider. One part is living room with sofa, a gas stove with a lovely large rug in front of it, the other part is the sleeping area with a double bed (large queen-size bed). The bathroom has a large shower overlooking the garden. And there is a separate room with (walk-in) closet and fountain. My garden is green, naturally landscaped and separated from the neighbors. There are several sitting areas and there is a fire pit.

The chalet is on the border of forest and polder (peatland) on the edge of a beautiful quiet area (with quaking fens). It is an ideal cycling and walking area. The Hilversum heath, the dunes of Soest, the large waters of the Loosdrecht lakes and the forests of the Utrecht Hill are within cycling distance. As also the cozy picturesque Lage Vuursche. Across the road you walk directly into the woods anyway. The station of Hollandsche Rading is a 10-minute walk away, where the train takes you in five minutes to Hilversum, in 10 minutes to Utrecht and in 40 minutes to Amsterdam. Parking is free. For shopping, go to one of the nearby villages that are about three kilometers away.
