In the rectory there is a very spacious nature house with two separate bedrooms and a beautiful terrace under the linden trees. From the large kitchen-living room you can step directly outside to the veranda, from where you have a beautiful view of the vegetable garden. The old linden trees in front of the house provide pleasant shade and, in spring, an enchanting fragrance. From late afternoon you can enjoy the beautiful sunset here. A vacation apartment for families with children and for winter guests, as all rooms have thick clay walls with wall heating.

The country road ends in Rutenberg. Here it turns only right or left on the village street lined by old lime trees. At this intersection, in a park with large chestnut trees, stands a 12th century fieldstone church. Behind it are four brick buildings belonging to the nature house. The two-hectare site is in the middle of the village, but because it is a bit backward, it seems like a small village within the village. Here begins the Uckermärkische Seen Nature Park with its vast forests, meadows, fields and lakes - a typical end moraine landscape.One of the clearest lakes in this area is the large Kronsee, which lies at the end of the village: 1.5 kilometers long and 30 meters deep with its own spring. From the nature house it is a five-minute walk to a small sandy beach, where you can take a dip in the crystal-clear water. Even in high season, it is never crowded here. There are just so many lakes here. From time to time deer, wild boar, rabbits, foxes, badgers and raccoons come near the nature houses to find something to eat.
