The nature house is built in a 12th century church and is largely made of glass, thus preserving as much as possible all the elements of the church. Under the tower is the living room; in the middle of the church is the kitchen, bathroom and toilet with the first floor being the bedroom. In the church, the hosts have installed a glass house, which can be used as a second bedroom. The terrace, where you can sit quietly and unseen, occupies a small part of the garden. While staying in this church house you will live amidst the sculptures and paintings created by the artist of the house. Total area of the little church is 150 m².

The church stands against the dike of the Meuse River; you are right in the floodplains of this river landscape, in the quiet village of Dieden, which has 200 inhabitants. There is an extensive network of walking and cycling routes, which bring you to beautiful floodplains and meadows where you can spot many birds, such as the blue and great egret, storks, spoonbills, avocets, curlews and other water and meadow birds.If you walk, cycle or drive along the dike, you will come across a number of beautiful villages and towns within a distance of 15 kilometers, such as Megen, Ravenstein, Keent and Grave, and on the other side of the Maas, Appeltern and Batenburg, among others. There are a number of places where you can cross the Maas by (bicycle) ferry, such as Maasbommel, Megen, Demen and Ravenstein. At Grave and Ravenstein you can cross the bridge to the other side.
