You are staying in a nature house that used to be a water mill. It has been tastefully and surprisingly restored under architecture. The old aqueduct, along which the water was led to run the mill, is still visible. Along the house flows a small stream that supplied the mill with water. The house is surrounded by nature, in the Val Noveglia of the municipality of Bardi, a lively town with all amenities, a weekly market and a magnificent castle. Around the house: 4,600 m² of private land (partly sloping), three panoramic sun terraces and a steep access path to the stream, so less suitable for small children. There is ample parking space. The house consists of several floors and levels. It has a spacious entrance hall with adjacent living kitchen with wood stove and below it a vaulted taverna. The living room with wood stove has two sliding doors to a panoramic sun terrace. In total there are three double bedrooms. One of them also has a panoramic sun terrace and private bathroom with bathtub/shower combination. Upstairs the other two bedrooms with shared bathroom. Internet with WiFi is available.

The environment is characterized by unspoiled nature, which here and there can even be called rugged. From the yard you walk into the woods, populated by deer, wild boar, foxes, badgers, squirrels and other fauna. Right next to the house runs an ancient pilgrimage route, the Via degli Abati. About ten minutes walk away is an old pilgrimage church. The area is perfect for long walks through vast forests, along rocks, streams and fields with panoramic views. There are many hiking trails for this purpose. You can swim in several places in the river Ceno. The region has not yet been discovered by mass tourism, so peace and quiet prevail. Nevertheless, there are many recreational opportunities. At three kilometers you will find a bar and pizzeria/trattoria. Bardi is 20 minutes away. Half an hour further you are on the A15 freeway. This makes numerous day trips possible. You can go to cities like Parma, Milan, Bologna, La Spezia and Pisa. You can visit the picturesque Cinque Terre. Seaside resorts like Sestri Levante, Portovenere and Lerici are also within reach. As are the natural parks of the Parco dei Cento Laghi and the Alpe Apuane with its marble quarries.
