This nature house is beautifully situated and detached in the woods in the Drenthe countryside. It is attractively furnished and fully equipped. It has a large private garden with terrace facing south. The cottage is both sheltered and open. From the cottage and the garden there is a view over the fields. There are many walking and cycling routes in the woods and on the moors nearby and plenty of authentic Drenthe villages and places of interest nearby. Two bicycles and cycling maps are included.

The surroundings of the cottage in enormously versatile and something for everyone. Nearby is the beautiful nature reserve Boswachterij Odoorn with a large forest and heathland for walking and cycling. In the forest is a watchtower with a teahouse with large terrace and extensive menu. In the summer there are numerous music performances here. For more culture you can visit the hunebed capital Borger, here lies the largest hunebed in the Netherlands. The major cities nearby are Groningen (40 min drive) and Assen (25 minutes drive).
