This nature house, a former wine cellar, is an open space of 55 square meters with its own entrance and terrace (25 square meters facing southwest). In front of the cottage is a table where early morning breakfast can be had. In the hallway is the door to the small bedroom/playroom/baggage room with a window. From the hall you enter the kitchen/dining/living room. Here there is a wood stove surrounded by seating (with monitor and DVDs) plus a wooden dining table with four chairs and the complete kitchen with oven. Two steps up is the spacious sleeping area with a chest of drawers and a full-width clothes rack. From this room you enter the bathroom with toilet, bidet and walk-in shower. The nature house can accommodate up to three people plus a baby. The door to the terrace is in the sitting/living area. An outdoor kitchen (with barbecue and wok burner), garden chairs, deck chairs, umbrellas and bicycles (for rent) are available. The washing machine and dryer can be used for a fee. The main house (house code 29665) is partly above this nature house.

From the nature house numerous short and long walks are possible. A 10-minute walk from the house you are already in the foothills of the plateau, which borders the valley of the river Âncora. You walk on small paths where you can encounter wild horses, a herd of sheep or nothing and no one at all. Water flows everywhere from various springs and small streams. The Atlantic coast with its white sandy beaches is two kilometers away from the house. There are all kinds of restaurants or small beach bars where you can eat good food for little money. There are hiking and biking trails along the beaches. There is also a bicycle path along the Atlantic coast that starts at the border between Spain and Portugal down to the bottom. Within a 15-kilometer radius you will find medieval towns, such as Caminha or Viana do Castelo. Two kilometers away is the village of Vila Praia de Âncora, traditionally a pleasant fishing village with many restaurants, stores and two supermarkets. It goes without saying that fish in these restaurants comes directly from the sea. The Serra d'Arga, a beautiful and ancient plateau, is about a 20-minute drive away.
