About 60 kilometers north of Karlstad you will find the cultural village of Ransäter (Munkfors). Just outside the village you will find the most beautiful place in Ransäter, this beautiful and spacious six-storey Nature house on a generous plot of 8500 square meters. The large plot and spectacular views offer you plenty of privacy, space, freedom and tranquillity in a beautiful, natural setting. At the bottom of the garden is even the authentic bridge that once connected Ransäter to the hamlet of Högsby and is now part of a hiking route that runs through and along Ransäter. This tributary of the Klarälven (which is only 300 meters from the house) is even home to a real beaver family that likes to show itself at night. The Nature house has recently been completely renovated and equipped with every comfort. From the large garden you have a beautiful view of Klarälvdal and from the other side of the garden you can enjoy the beautiful nature and the river that flows past the house. It is also possible to enjoy a romantic DVD with a crackling fire or play a game of cards in the cozy kitchen. Of course you can also enjoy a nice walk, relaxed fishing or a boat trip on the many lakes or the mighty Klarälven. A canoe for one person is available for children up to about 12 years. On the first floor you will find the spacious kitchen with all appliances such as dishwasher, oven, fridge / freezer and microwave, a living room with satellite TV, DVD player, radio and CD player and a cozy wood stove. Also on the first floor is another bedroom with two single beds (mattress size: 80x200 centimeters). Upstairs there are two more bedrooms: a double room (mattress size: 160x200 centimeters) and a (children's) room with two bunk beds (mattress size: 90x200 centimeters). The new bathroom with shower cubicle, washbasin, toilet and washing machine completes the upper floor with its cozy landing. All beds have single comforters and pillows. The house also offers bicycles for adults and children as well as a baby crib, bathtub and high chair.

Just 500 meters away you will find the open-air museum of Ransäter, Värmland, where activities for young and old are organized every day in summer. How about the nature reserve Ransätershöjden ... where you can go for a walk and where an encounter with deer, moose or fox is no exception. You will also find the cycle route from Hagfors to Karlstad, which was built on the old railroad line. Or how about Sunne (23 kilometers) with its mega-swimming paradise, beautiful ski slopes or opportunities for cruises on the Frykenmeer with Europe's oldest working steamship? Or the world's largest and longest indoor ski slope in Torsby. And in winter for rally fanatics, of course, the WRC rally that takes place around Hagfors and Munkfors. It's all within easy reach for the adventurous vacationer.
