Welcome to a peaceful 1789 heritage barn, mindfully preserved in its authentic, rustic state. Located 120 km from Paris, this historic cottage is a true sanctuary for anyone seeking a "slow-living" experience and a genuine return to basics. To respect the building’s historic soul, we have intentionally kept it free from modern technology: there is no Wi-Fi (though 4G/5G coverage is excellent on site) and no washing machines or dishwashers. The cottage is completely healthy and clean, but the cleaning and upkeep remain traditional, suited for old stone houses and far from standardized, smooth hotel criteria. It is the perfect place to unplug, read by the fireplace, and live at nature’s pace. As your hosts, we live in the estate's main house. While ensuring your absolute privacy and independence, we are on-site and at your service to guide you, share local tips, or help you with anything you might need during your stay.

The house sits right in the heart of a private, 2-hectare meadow, completely secluded with no overlooked views. You will have full access to a lovely south-facing garden, shaded by a magnificent, century-old linden tree—a perfect spot to relax and gaze out at the open fields all to yourself. Located on the borders of the Perche region in Normandy, the property is surrounded by beautiful country landscapes, fields, and historic forests (such as the Perche and La Trappe forests). It is an incredible area for outdoor activities, including hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. Local wildlife is abundant, and you will enjoy the soothing sounds of birds and rural life. While you will feel beautifully cut off from the world, local organic farm shops, a legendary award-winning bakery, and traditional weekly markets are just a short 5 to 12-minute drive away.
