The "d'Amour et de Perche" vacation rental is situated on a hill in the "Parc naturel du Perche" in Normandy. The south-facing terrace offers sweeping views. The house has been restored to its authentic state as much as possible, without compromising on comfort. The three bedrooms feature high-quality beds made by a local manufacturer (“Cosme Literie”). Books and games are provided, the kitchen is well-equipped, and after a walk, the fireplace awaits. A SONOS player is available for music, and the gîte has a high-speed internet connection. We have deliberately chosen not to include a television in the gîte. The downstairs bedroom has its own bathroom, while the two upstairs bedrooms share a spacious bathroom (with a shower and bathtub). The house is located on our 2.5-hectare property, in a peaceful setting. We (Flore and Willem) live next to the gîte—without intruding on your privacy.
Nature and surroundings
Just a 5-minute walk from the gîte lies the 2,428-hectare “Forêt domaniale de Bellême”—offering endless hiking opportunities. Among other things, the forest is home to an ancient Celtic settlement. The gîte is surrounded by a large private property where badgers and foxes roam in the evenings. The beautiful medieval town of Bellême is a 7-minute drive away; there are many good restaurants in the area—and the renowned Bellême Golf Club is just 5 minutes from the cottage. The “Parc naturel du Perche” is known for its rolling, wooded landscape, featuring stunning manors and beautiful cycling routes. Mamers is a 10-minute drive away, and Mortagne-au-Perche is 14 minutes away. In short, the gîte is surrounded by nature but not isolated. The Perche region is also known for its “brocante”—there are many antique markets and shops. All in all, it’s a wonderful spot to make your vacation as active or as relaxing as you’d like.

If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount. After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refunded
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refunded
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refunded
• on the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €500.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
