We are James and Roo, and we welcome you to our nature house—our lovingly built treehouse, nestled deep in nature in the beautiful Brittany countryside, high up in an ancient chestnut tree. The tree itself divides the space into two comfortable areas: a cozy bedroom where you can sleep peacefully and indulge in antique French bed linens. At the other end is a living area with a panoramic window overlooking our lake, where you’ll see plenty of wildlife. There is a small gas stove, a sink with running water, and everything you need to enjoy a quiet evening reading or simply watching the world go by. At night, the stars are absolutely stunning since there is absolutely no light pollution, and on a clear night, you can easily make out individual stars and the Milky Way. Beneath the main structure of the treehouse is a spacious and well-equipped outdoor kitchen, a shower with hot water, a terrace with a table and chairs, and a hanging armchair. There is a dry composting toilet a short distance away.
Nature and surroundings
We are located near the small village of Priziac, which has a bakery offering delicious bread, fresh croissants, and grocery essentials. For dining out, there’s the popular “Le Capri” pizza restaurant. There is also a large recreational lake, Lac de Bel Air, with pedal boats and a bar/restaurant if you’re looking for a break from the peace and quiet! A ten-minute drive away is the larger town of Le Faouet, where you’ll find supermarkets, a pharmacy, newsstands, a small movie theater, and several bars and restaurants. The area is perfect for cyclists and hikers, and maps are available at the tourist office showing routes for various randonees, many of which take you past some of the region’s numerous small chapels. Les Oiseaux truly lives up to its name, as many species call this place home. Lose yourself in the beautiful birdsong of the dawn chorus and escape the noise of everyday life—a chance to clear your mind and shake off any stress! We look forward to welcoming you very soon!

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €150.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
