A place where history and relaxation come together: the romantic vacation cottage Le Paradis is located in the heart of Normandy, in the Pays d’Auge (Orne). Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, you can enjoy stunning views of the valley—with cows and horses—from both the front and back. Rural and peaceful, yet close to all amenities. The living room, featuring a monumental fireplace nearly five meters high, exudes pure French charm. The kitchen features a dishwasher and a dining table for four; in the summer, you’ll mostly dine outdoors at the teak garden furniture. A barbecue is provided. On the ground floor, you’ll find the bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a separate guest toilet. Upstairs is a bedroom with an electrically adjustable double bed (160×200). The second bedroom, accessible via a staircase, also has a double bed (150×190) and central heating. Minimum stay: 1 week (Sat–Sat). New: EV charging station. Le Paradis can be rented together with the adjacent Le Colonel for up to 6 people.
Nature and surroundings
Le Paradis is tucked away in the green heart of the Pays d’Auge, surrounded by hills, orchards, and quiet valleys. The house is situated on a small dead-end road, ensuring peace and privacy. Both in front and behind, you look out over meadows where cows and horses graze, with the light playing differently across the landscape every day. Nature is always close by here: birds, deer, and the gentle rustling of the wind set the rhythm. Despite its rural location, shops, markets, and villages are just a short drive away. It’s a place where you can truly unwind, right in the heart of authentic Normandy.
