The nature house is attached to an old farmhouse (occupied by the owners, Carlo and Lydia, of Cortijo Casa Jaïra), but offers all the peace and privacy you’re looking for. The view from the olive grove is breathtaking. The cottage has 4 bedrooms (a total of 8 beds, including 2 double beds and 4 single beds), all with their own air conditioning. In addition, the house has 2 bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Both bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub and shower. The cozy living room features a large (lounge) sofa, The private terrace is furnished with a lounge set and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sounds, sights, scents, and flavors of Sierra de Castril. You can park your (rental) car safely and for free on the property near the accommodation.

The Cerrada del río Castril is a beautiful route along an impressive gorge that has been formed over time. You walk through the gorge using wooden footbridges suspended from the cliff face above the river. The El Portillo reservoir lies on the Castril River and offers a unique combination of practical utility as a reservoir and natural beauty.
