A charming and cozy 53 m² vacation rental for two, which we recently renovated and furnished with great care. The cottage is located in a part of our house but is private and has its own entrance. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cozy sitting area, a spacious dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside is a lovely west-facing terrace, furnished with lounge chairs and a picnic table—perfect for enjoying the view and the sunset. You can also relax in the surrounding meadow while listening to the soothing sounds of birds and crickets. On the first floor is the bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed (160x200 cm), closet space, and a compact bathroom with a shower and toilet. We offer an excellent fiber-optic Wi-Fi connection, so you can watch TV on your own tablet if you’d like. You’ll have access to a media player for streaming music or listening to the radio.
Nature and surroundings
Let yourself be captivated by the beautiful surroundings. Head out for a lovely walk through the picturesque bocage landscape. We’ve already mapped out several walks for you. Discover charming villages, local markets, and cozy flea markets. And of course, Le Mont-Saint-Michel (45 min), Mortain with its beautiful waterfalls (10 min), Villedieu, famous for its copperwork (20 min), and Domfront (30 min). In the hamlet of “La Cour de Haut,” there’s an organic bakery called “Au Four’nid” that offers delicious sourdough bread baked in a wood-fired oven. Pickup is available on Monday and Thursday afternoons. We recommend ordering in advance. A medium-sized supermarket is a 6-minute drive away, and a small shop selling fresh baguettes is just 3 minutes away. Bijzonder aardige gastvrouw en gastheer.We really enjoyed the wonderful cottage. It was very peaceful and spacious, both inside and out. The sunset from the terrace was beautiful.
