Our gîte is located centrally in France at the intersection of 3 departments, namely the Allier (Auvergne), the Creuse (Limousin) and the Cher (Centre) and 3km outside the village of Préveranges. It is a very quiet area with beautiful nature. Ideal for hiking and cycling. What you will not find here is mass tourism. On a closed private area of 1.3ha you can enjoy nature, our fishing pond and the comfort of our vacation home in all peace and privacy. There is also a rowing boat available, which everyone may use. We do not recommend swimming in our pond. The pond is a natural pond and the habitat of several animal species. Our cottage has been renovated from a simple "cabane de pêche" into a cozy and cozy vacation home. An additional bedroom, bathroom and toilet were added in 2025 to accommodate larger families.
Nature and surroundings
Large grounds with many places to discover, where children can play to their heart's content and where you can enjoy peace and privacy. There is a large carp pond, exclusively for our guests. 20 minutes away by car there are a number of nice restaurants and supermarkets. In the village itself there is a small grocery store where you can buy fresh bread every day.
