Our gîte is located in central France at the junction of three departments—namely, the Allier (Auvergne), the Creuse (Limousin), and the Cher (Centre)—and is 3 km outside the village of Préveranges. It’s a very peaceful area with beautiful natural surroundings. It’s ideal for hiking and biking. What you won’t find here is mass tourism. On a fenced-in private property of 1.3 hectares, you can enjoy nature, our fishing pond, and the comfort of our vacation home in complete peace and privacy. There is also a small rowboat available for everyone to use. We do not recommend swimming in our pond. The pond is a natural pond and serves as a habitat for various animal species. Our cottage has been renovated from a simple “cabane de pêche” into a cozy and inviting vacation home. In 2025, it was expanded to include an additional bedroom, bathroom, and toilet to accommodate larger families.
Nature and surroundings
A large property with plenty of areas to explore, where children can play to their heart’s content and where you can enjoy peace and privacy. As an added bonus, there’s a large carp pond, exclusively for our guests. In the surrounding area, there are several cozy restaurants and supermarkets, each about a 20-minute drive away. In the village itself, there’s a small grocery store where you can buy fresh bread every day. Completely radiation-free; cell tower more than 3 km away, no digital meters, and the option to turn off Wi-Fi.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €200.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 25 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
