On the outskirts of Quistinic, overlooking the Blavet River, we have eco-renovated this 18th-century thatched cottage to offer a comfortable, bright vacation rental with an exceptional view of the Blavet River from the private terrace. Restored using natural and traditional materials, with lime-hemp insulation on the walls, covered with an earthen plaster. Hemp wool under the thatched roof, poplar paneling. Terracotta tile floors on the ground floor, with cedar countertops and shelves. Heat pump coupled with underfloor heating. All electrical wiring is housed in shielded conduits to eliminate electromagnetic radiation. Wired internet is available (5 outlets in the cottage), again to prioritize a radiation-free environment. However, if you wish, we can set up a small Wi-Fi network (we’ll lend you the router). The bed measures 160x200. We live in the house next door.
Nature and surroundings
The area is very hilly and wooded, with no intensive farming and plenty of pastures. The town has 100 km of hiking trails, featuring sunken paths, chapels, and fountains... A hiking trailhead is just 50 meters from the house. Access to the towpath, via the Minazen lock (5 km) or the Manerven lock (3 km), allows for walks or bike rides. For birdwatching, Gavres and Locmiquélic are 30 minutes away. Less than an hour from the Gulf of Morbihan, the Séné Nature Reserve, Suscinio, and the Duer Marshes… Poul Fétan, the village of thatched-roof houses—which still existed in 1850—is less than a 10-minute drive away. Beaches: Plouhinec and Le Pouldu are 40 minutes away. Larmor Plage is 30 minutes away Lorient is 30 minutes away, with its Interceltic Festival and the Cité de la Voile (La Base) Le Faouët is 35 minutes away, featuring its 16th-century market hall, Sainte Barbe Chapel, Fiacre Chapel, and the Ellé Valley. Access to the RN24 (Rennes) and RN165 (Vannes–Quimper) national highways is 10 minutes away. Hennebont is 15 minutes away

If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount. After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refunded
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refunded
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refunded
• on the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €500.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
