Just a stone's throw from La Flèche Zoo and Château du Lude, we welcome you to the site of an old water mill. In this 3-hectare haven of nature, bordered by the river and surrounded by farmland and woods, we offer this gîte for up to 5 people. A family gîte par excellence, it comprises a large living area with a lounge featuring a wood-burning stove, a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen and a dining area overlooking the millstream. A bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Antique terracotta tiles on the floor, whitewashed walls, beams bleached with marble powder, antique and restored furniture, patchwork on the walls... the charm of the past combined with the comfort of the present. A terrace with table, chairs and barbecue lets you enjoy the outdoors to the full, in the shade of the wisteria in spring and the vines in summer. A large area in front of the gîte invites you to relax in the deckchairs...
Nature and surroundings
We've been renovating this mill for over 20 years, constantly striving to preserve its authenticity and soul. Situated in the heart of nature, on the banks of the river, in a wooded and flower-filled park, rich in biodiversity, you can enjoy a complete silence, giving pride of place to birdsong, the murmur of water and the rustle of wind in the foliage. An ideal place to recharge your batteries, stretch your time and enjoy a stress-free interlude away from the hustle and bustle, with family, friends, couples or simply on your own. 3 hectares are available for you to stroll along the reach, among the bamboo, play pétanque, badminton or ping-pong, set up your hammock or curl up in a deckchair to read or do nothing, meet our curious and mischievous sheep and goats. If you're sensitive to nature and silence, if you're looking for peace and harmony, then this is the place for you.
