Tucked away in the countryside of central France, this restored mill is a spacious and quiet retreat in nature, ideal for families or groups looking for space, privacy and tranquility. The property can accommodate up to 17 guests and is set in large private grounds surrounded by woods, meadows and riverside walks. There are no immediate neighbors. The mill offers a real sense of total detachment - a place to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature.The house offers generous living spaces, designed for both communal moments and quiet corners: the main house has 4 bedrooms, the guest house has 3 private suites.Outside there is a heated pool (May-October), a Jacuzzi with beautiful river views and a large terrace overlooking the natural surroundings. Wildlife is often seen around the property. The mill offers a wide range of on-site facilities: pool games (water volleyball, water polo), a table tennis table, a bocce ball court, a fishing trail along the river (no kill) and board games.

The mill is close to the Loire Valley, with direct access to forest walks, cycling routes and canoeing. Just a short drive away is the Bertranges forest, the second largest oak forest in France, covering thousands of hectares. It is perfect for long walks, cycling, wildlife watching and mushroom picking in season. Nearby is the Bec d'Allier, the spectacular confluence of the Allier and Loire rivers, a protected nature reserve with unique flora, wide views and many hiking trails. The area is also surrounded by famous vineyards, including Sancerre and Menetou-Salon, where guests can visit wineries, taste local wines and explore traditional wine villages. Cycling enthusiasts will appreciate direct access to La Loire à Vélo, one of France's most famous long-distance cycling routes, offering flat and scenic tours along the river. The medieval town of La Charité-sur-Loire, known for its market, restaurants and cultural heritage, is 10 km from the accommodation.
