If you are looking for peace and quiet, this renovated cortijo is ideal. Secluded, with grand views in all directions. The house is "off grid" but accessible with a normal car. In the courtyard there is something blooming all year round and there is a veranda with a sheltered seating area. In the garden there are many fruit trees, seats in the sun or shade and a pergola with dining table. The terrace is ideal for enjoying sunsets, the silence sometimes broken by a flock of sheep. The pool overlooks Acinipo, a Roman ruin. In the backyard is a ping-pong table. At 800 meters above sea level, it remains cool on summer nights and, with central heating, cozy in winter. The area is full of fascinating fauna and flora; vultures, swallows, eagles as well as bee-eaters, orioles and wagtails. With a little luck you will see a mongoose or a turtle in the river. At night the starry sky is beautiful and accompanied by crickets, frogs or an owl.

Opposite the house, on the other side of the valley is a well-preserved Roman amphitheater. The finca is located between Ronda and Setenil, both very beautiful places 15 minutes away by car. Ronda is a Roman city built on either side of a 120 meter deep gorge connected to the impressive 18th-century Puente Nuevo, many museums , eateries and also ideal for shopping. Setenil is famous for tapas, and has many bistros under an impressive rock wall with cave houses.The immediate area offers beautiful and easy hiking. More challenging hiking trails can be reached by car in Sierra de Grazalema and de las Nieves, both Spanish nature reserves. Very impressive are the 'Caminito del Rey' and the 'Via Verde'. The entire region features charming white villages. Andalusia is rich in important cultural sights: Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Cadiz and Malaga can all be visited with a day trip.
