Guest Room 5 is our luxury room on the first floor, accommodating up to 4 people, with an adjoining bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower and bathtub. This nature house was built on my grandparents’ beautiful farm, which dates back to 1940. We renovated this nature house largely by hand and equipped it with the latest technology to minimize its impact on people and the environment. We tried to salvage as many authentic elements as possible and integrate them into the new design: the old stones were cleaned by hand and reused in the farmhouse. A stay at the B&B or farmhouse in the heart of the countryside offers guests an authentic and relaxing experience. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, guests can enjoy the countryside and nature. The scent of freshly mowed grass, the sound of mooing cows, and the sight of grazing animals on green pastures make for an unforgettable experience.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is beautifully situated in the green heart of the Antwerp Kempen, on the outskirts of Kasterlee. The immediate surroundings are characterized by a mix of forests, heathlands, and sandy country roads that invite you to hike, bike, and enjoy the peace and quiet. Kasterlee is known for its vast forests, such as the Kabouterbos and the Hoge Rielen property, and its proximity to the Kleine Nete, which winds its way through the landscape. Nature lovers will be in their element on walks through fragrant pine forests, open grasslands, and picturesque ponds. In the fall, the forests take on spectacular colors, and in the spring and summer, you can hear the buzzing of insects and see butterflies dancing above the heath. Cyclists can connect directly to the cycling route network, which takes you past charming villages, fields, and hidden spots. Whether you’re looking for peace and quiet, adventure, or inspiration, the natural surroundings of this nature house offer it all.
