This nature house was created on the beautiful farm of my grandparents that dates back to 1940. This nature house was largely renovated by our own hands and equipped with the most modern techniques to minimize the impact on people and the environment. We tried to recover as many authentic elements as possible and integrate them into the new whole: the old stones were cleaned and reused in the farmhouse. A stay in the B&B or farmhouse in the middle of the countryside offers guests an authentic and restful experience. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, guests can enjoy the countryside and nature. The smell of freshly cut grass, the sound of mooing cows, and the sight of grazing animals on green pastures make for an unforgettable experience.
Nature and surroundings
This Nature House is beautifully located in the green heart of the Antwerp Kempen region, on the outskirts of Kasterlee. The immediate surroundings are characterized by an alternation of forests, moors and sandy country roads that invite you to walk, cycle and enjoy peace and quiet. Kasterlee is known for its extensive forests, such as the Kabouterbos and the Hoge Rielen property, and the proximity of the Kleine Nete, which meanders through the landscape. Nature lovers will enjoy hiking through fragrant pine forests, open grasslands and picturesque ponds. In autumn the forests turn a spectacular color, and in spring and summer you can hear the buzzing of insects and see butterflies dancing above the heaths. Cyclists can connect directly to the cycling network, which takes you past charming villages, fields and hidden places. Whether you are looking for peace, adventure or inspiration, the nature around this nature house offers it all.
