Original Mongolian Yurt - sleep in style by the Frisian water Sleep in an authentic, hand-painted 30 m² Mongolian yurt, on an attractive nature campsite in Southwest Friesland. There are three comfortable beds in the yurt: one double bed (80 x 200 cm) and two single beds (70 x 200 cm). All beds have a good mattress, comforter and pillow. Guests bring their own comforter covers, fitted sheets and pillowcases. The furniture, including the beds, are all handmade and beautifully painted in Mongolian style. The yurt has lots of light thanks to the skylight, large windows and bright doors - overlooking vast Frisian meadows. There is a kitchenette with gas stove and large refrigerator, a table and chairs, plus electricity and lighting. Sanitary facilities (shower and toilet) can be found in the neat, shared sanitary building nearby. At the reception you can ask questions or get tips. Discover Southwest Friesland - where water, meadows and old villages come together The yurt is located on a small, cozy nature campsite in the middle of the vast landscape of Southwest Friesland. Here you look out over green meadows with cows, ancient farms and ditches that meander through the landscape like veins. The campground is located directly on the Zeelandse Diep, a quiet waterway where you can swim, paddle, canoe or just sit with your feet in the water. Along this old dike are beautiful winding roads, ideal for cycling or walking. Along the way you pass picturesque villages, flowery roadsides, windmills and historic churches. The atmosphere is rural and friendly - a place where time seems to slow down.Just 8 kilometers away are Sneek and Bolsward - two cozy Frisian cities full of nice stores, terraces, museums and culture.
