The nature reserves IJsselvallei, Reeënberg, the Beekberger Forest (once the last primeval forest of the Netherlands, now a wonderfully varied hiking area), the Loenense Hooilanden, the Empense and Tondense heather, Forestry Ugchelen / Hoenderloo, the Loenense Enk, Hoeve Delle, Ramenberg, the Deeler Forest and the Loenermark are around or near our campsite. Also the Posbank with magnificent views, is easily accessible from the Vinkenkamp. In the early morning or falling evening there is plenty of wildlife to spot nearby.
