This "loft" of about 40 m², consists of a central living space with an open kitchen and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The oiled wood throughout offers a warm, quiet space where it is good to stay. The small sheltered terrace with large garden table is a nice place to wake up with a cup of coffee and the morning sun. Two mezzanines dressed as Sahara tents with mosquito nets, overlook the living space on either side. A first offers a "queen size" double bed and a small closet. The second mezzanine is reached by a corridor staircase. This small sleeping area has a single bed and is suitable for children over 7, who will feel like kings. In the cottage there is a list of bakeries in the area, with tips for the best cakes or breads. A small supermarket is 3km away, larger ones at 10km. For late arrivals we also have good weckpots (organic) in the house, prepared by a local cook; ask in advance, there is vega and meat.
Nature and surroundings
Discover our feral valley in the heart of Brittany (Ille-et-Vilaine), where a lake lined by alders and willows, ancient trees and thriving biodiversity offer a unique nature experience. Walk through this wooded, secluded 5ha nature reserve and spot wildlife such as deer and birds, or stroll through the "marais de Sougéal" a paradise for birdwatchers. Enjoy peace, quiet and fresh forest air. Cycle along rural routes and charming country roads past viewpoints over the Bay of St Michel to the coast or to the majestic Mt St-Michel itself (only 1 hour). Follow the cycle route, mostly cycling pathfrom Mt St-Michel via Fougères to Nantes and discover its rich culture.
