This nature house is a 10 minutes drive from the pueblo blanco of Cómpeta. The natural park of the Sierras Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama with all their hiking and cycling routes are on your doorstep. The costa is at 30 minutes. The comfortable, cozy house with heated pool and wood fired pizza oven is surrounded by nature - almonds, olives, birds, bees and butterflies and some of the most stunning views in the area. You will experience sublime sunsets and starry night skies. The valley in which this nature house is situated is particularly beautiful in spring, autumn and winter and the surrounding white villages continue to be vibrant hubs where locals go about their daily business and enjoy markets, shops, bars and great restaurants. Pool heating is available at extra cost.
Nature and surroundings
The area of Axarquia is a walker’s paradise. You can take a leisurely river walk with picnic or hike to the summit of the highest mountain in Malaga province, La Maroma. The GR249, the Great Malaga Path, runs close to Cómpeta. The choice of walks is endless. On walks you will experience rivers, streams, waterfalls, wild flowers, mountain goats, and birds of prey. The ancient agriculture of the area is all around with acequias ( watering systems) and terracing. Time stands still. If you prefer to get around on two wheels, bike hire including electric bikes is available locally.
