Normandy farmhouse in a beautiful natural setting. Furnishing is a mix of authentic and modern elements, with on the ground floor a large living kitchen and dining area with wood stove. Still on the ground floor, bathroom with toilet, bath, shower and then another separate sitting room with mezzanine with two single beds. On the second floor a master bedroom with sink and separate wc. In the attic another bedroom with double bed. Thick stone walls guarantee coolness in summer and in the surrounding garden there are large oak trees and sometimes (not always) donkeys graze. The rental side has its separate entrance plus two separate exits to the garden and is a terrace on the south side as on the north side. The owner lives in the completely private side of the house, the spacious parking is communal. At the bottom of the property is a piece of forest me river.

Brecey is very centrally located tov all area attractions, Avranches 20min, Mont Saint Michel 35 min, Carole beach 35 min, Granville 40 min. Villedieu 20 min, Saint-Malo 50min. The farmhouse itself is 2km from the village with as many as three bakeries, two supermarkets and all amenities. Also nice for the kids a municipal heated outdoor swimming pool two minutes away (open from June to the end of August). This region is known for its rich nature, hedgerows, many rivers and a pleasant climate due to the nearby ocean which gives you a beautiful light. If you stay here you can choose either a walk in the nostalgic hollow roads or forest or a day at the beach, cultural town to visit or even a trip to Brittany or the landing beaches at Caen.

There are also many stables.All the nice towns in the area can be reached from a half hour drive, including Mont St Michel.There is a lot of history in the area. Both ecclesiastical and medieval and 1st and 2nd World War. As far as we are concerned, something for everyone.
In de omgeving staan veel appelboomgaarden en ciderpersen. Ook zijn er veel maneges.
Alle leuke stadjes in de buurt zijn bereikbaar vanaf een half uur rijden, ook de Mont St Michel.
Er is veel geschiedenis in de omgeving. Zowel kerkelijk en middeleeuws als 1e en 2e wereldoorlog.
Wat ons betreft voor ieder wat wils.Nature, peace & environment:We had a wonderful stay in Brecey. The cottage is at the end of the little road, wonderfully secluded. The murmur of the trees and the stream in the background as you sit on the terrace is soothing. The house is fully equipped, with a well-equipped kitchen, perfect bathroom with nice bathtub and rain shower. Two toilets is a plus with a family of four! My youngest and his father had a great time with the donkeys that came by in the meadow outside the door. The neighbor's chickens also came to watch from time to time which was also cozy. There are many fruit and nut trees in the area. Wild picking is very possible, we have eaten many mirabelles and blackberries. But also sweet chestnuts, walnuts and hazelnuts grow along the road.The owner is very hospitable and approachable. He knows a lot about the area and has good tips.
We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Brecey. Het huisje ligt aan het einde van het weggetje, heerlijk beschut. Het geruis van de bomen en het beekje op de achtergrond als je op het terras zit is rustgevend. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, met een goed uitgeruste keuken, perfecte badkamer met lekker ligbad en regendouche.
Twee toiletten is een plus met een gezin van vier!
Mijn jongste en zijn vader hebben zich uitstekend vermaakt met de ezeltjes die langskwamen in het weitje voor de deur. Ook de kippetjes van de buren kwamen af en toe kijken wat ook gezellig was. In de omgeving staan veel fruit- en notenbomen. Wildpluk is heel goed mogelijk, we hebben veel mirabelles en bramen gegeten. Maar ook tamme kastanjes, walnoten en hazelnoten groeien langs de weg.
