Restored farmhouse from 1900. Inside you will notice the living room with natural stone, the large cozy table and of course, the fireplace with wood stove. Downstairs there is a nice bedroom and bathroom with shower and toilet. Here is also the washing machine. In the kitchen, the old bread oven is really an eye-catcher. In addition to a practical gas stove, also refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. Upstairs are the other 4 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Attached to the house 3 stables. Unfortunately not accessible to our guests. In the huge garden there is a large wooden bathhouse, surface-mounted pool and a caravan. Take your aperitif on the large terrace or under the awning of the bathhouse. Tired of all this you watch TV quietly or use the WiFi.
Nature and surroundings
The house is located in a cul-de-sac in the middle of nature. Dead end but only for cars. Because from here begins a nice hiking trail that leads to Chateau Guillaume. All you hear here are the birds or somewhere in the distance the mooing of a Limousin cow. Fancy a fresh croissant? The boulangerie, epicerie, bar-tabac, are only 4 minutes away by car. The house is not or hardly accessible by public. transportation. Limoges is about 80 km. But for tasty restaurants you can also go to Prissac and Chaillac. A 10 minute walk from the house you can visit a farm for fresh goat cheese and eggs from chickens enjoying all the space. Lignac is ideal for hikers, bird watchers, or those in transit to or from Spain. Here there is no light pollution so you can fully admire a beautiful starry sky.
