Cozy, rustic guest room with a mini-fridge, coffee and tea-making facilities, microwave, private bathroom, terrace, and private pool, nestled among the mountains of Málaga. Located in a quiet spot, ideal for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists, and mountain bikers, etc. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying the peace and quiet with stunning views of the mountains. You can also have unique retro vacation photos taken here! Every now and then, one of our cats, Nano or Lars, might come by for a visit. This nature house is about a 15-minute drive from the village of Almogia; a car is required. There you’ll find a supermarket and several bars and restaurants. The city of Málaga, the airport, and the beach are all within a 30-minute drive. To access the finca, there’s a roughly 3-minute drive on an unpaved road; it’s possible to get here in a standard car. We’ll send you very detailed instructions on how to get here before your arrival.
Nature and surroundings
It’s located in a very peaceful setting here, in a mountainous landscape with many olive groves. The natural surroundings offer varied landscapes, with mountains, reservoirs, and rivers that will delight hikers and cyclists. Late January through early February is the almond blossom season, a truly beautiful time of year for nature lovers and hikers. About 40 minutes from this cottage lies the beautiful El Torcal de Antequera Natural Park, with its impressive rock formations. The natural landscape in El Torcal is truly unique. You’ll often spot ibex on the rocks. El Torcal is one of Spain’s most spectacular and beautiful nature reserves thanks to its remarkable rocks and karst formations. The famous El Caminito del Rey hike is also just over an hour’s drive away. The Sierra de las Nievas Nature Park is an hour’s drive away.
