Our spacious 2- to 4-person cortijo, featuring air conditioning and Wi-Fi, is built in a rustic Alpujarran style. From May through September, it features a private pool filled with fresh mountain water, and a waterfall and stream flow beneath the elevated terrace. Upon entering, you’ll be greeted by the rustic ceiling featuring olive tree trunks in a fully equipped, cozy Alpujarran-style kitchen with dining area. Next is a cozy living room with a fireplace, a very spacious double bedroom with air conditioning that leads to an even more charming double bedroom, and a fully equipped bathroom with a toilet and bathtub. What’s more, every evening you can enjoy almost magical moments under the starry sky on the elevated wooden terrace, surrounded by lush trees and the gentle flow of water from the stream running beneath you. It really is a magical experience every single time!! Unfortunately, starting in late September, our pool will be unavailable due to repair work on our irrigation canal.

The charming historic white villages surround us, and right above us lies the Buddhist meditation temple “O Sel Ling,” which was even visited by the 14th Dalai Lama in 1982. The cortijo is located in the “Sierra Nevada Las Alpujarras National Park,” so open fires are prohibited, and cigarettes are allowed only when used responsibly.
