Welcome to our cozy two-person nature house A wonderful place for those seeking peace and quiet, hikers, and cycling enthusiasts who want to get away from it all for a while. The one-room guesthouse is located in our front house and is fully equipped: a private kitchen, bathroom, radio/CD player, and fresh herbs in the garden—not to mention a beautifully made-up double bed (2 single beds available upon request). Bath and kitchen linens are provided. On both sides of the house, you’ll find a terrace with sweeping views of the countryside and our four Zebu cows. (Note: one terrace is adjacent to our back door) On a hot day, it’s lovely to relax in the shade of the large trees in front of the house. In the evening, build a cozy fire in the wood stove under the starry sky, dive into one of the books, or play a game together. Unwind, explore the surroundings, and enjoy the outdoors. Nature and surroundings
Thuiszee, a place where tranquility, open space, and the great outdoors come together seamlessly. Here, you’ll wake up to the sound of birds singing and a sweeping view of the meadows. Whether you’re looking for active days filled with cycling and hiking trips in the beautiful nature around the IJssel and in the polder, want to soak up the rich culture of historic Hanseatic towns(Deventer, Zutphen), or simply want to enjoy the pure flavors straight from the farm at the various farm shops or roadside stands: in and around Nijbroek, you’ll find it all! With a bit of luck, the bright-blue kingfisher will flash past along the drainage canals, while high in the sky you can see the impressive white-tailed eagle soaring. Roe deer and hares sometimes roam the meadows. So be sure to bring your binoculars. Welcome to the rhythm of the countryside, where the IJssel flows peacefully and the expansive agricultural landscape of the Nijbroek polder invites you to slow down.
