We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house—it was very clean, the beds were comfortable, it was spacious, and it was wonderfully peaceful.
We were lucky with the weather: dry during the day and rain in the evening.
We did a lot of cycling through Gaasterland—it was beautiful.

Heerlijke week gehad in het prachtig huis, heel schoon,lekkere bedden,mooi ruim en heerlijk rustig.
We hadden met het weer geluk overdag droog en s'avonds regen.

In addition, there is no smoke detector in the utility room... there is a dryer there. Isn't a smoke detector a necessity? The water can suddenly become stone cold while showering. Our little one also experienced this. We missed an extra closet near the kitchen or a shelf in the laundry room/utility room for non-refrigerated groceries. But it was not convenient. The locks of the downstairs bathroom and toilet are lame, they often turn on their own when closing the door. Our tip: a curtain or the like at the window in the front door because of the view. All knives, except the large bread knife, are very blunt. Most of the frying pans have a worn coating. We noticed that the double bed on the right side (if you stand in front of the bed), creaks tremendously. Can this be looked into? All in all, thank you for a lovely stay!

Daarbij is er in de bijkeuken geen rookmelder.. daar staat een droger. Is een rookmelder geen noodzaak?

Het water kan tijdens het douchen ineens steenkoud worden. Onze kleine maakte dit ook mee. Dat was zeer ongewenst.

We misten een extra kast bij keuken of een plank in het washok/bijkeuken voor niet gekoelde boodschappen, nu hebben we maar de ruime kast in de badkamer gebruikt voor voorraad. Maar handig was dat niet.

De sloten van de badkamer en toilet beneden zijn lam, ze draaien bij het sluiten van de deur vaak vanzelf in het slot. Bij een volgend bezoek zit de deur dan op slot..

Onze tip: een gordijn o.i.d. bij het raam in de voordeur i.v.m. inkijk.

Alle messen, op het grote broodmes na, zijn wel erg bot. De meeste koekenpannen hebben een versleten aanbaklaag. Deze beide kunnen wel vervanging gebruiken!

Het valt ons op dat het 2-persoonsbed aan de rechterkant (als je voor het bed staat), enorm kraakt. Kan hiernaar worden gekeken?

Oudemirdum, you must have been there once! What a beautiful place and in a very nice house. In nature, with lots of peace and green. Yet on a park, it's a great combination here! We have seen a deer walk, while it was already a little later in the morning. Such a quiet place! For children there is plenty to play, inside and outside! That was a surprise for our little one! The house is spacious and is large in our experience. Ideal that food and other supplies can be used. This means you do not miss out at the beginning of the vacation (except for dishwasher tablets with us) and you can leave what you have left! The decor is cozy, practical and nice. With the large windows, you catch a lot of light despite the trees, and you can enjoy looking outside. Some points of attention we do not want to leave unsaid: The smoke detectors are all not in use. Oudemirdum, daar moet je wel een keer geweest zijn! Wat een mooie plek en in een heel fijn huisje.
In de natuur, met veel rust en groen. Toch op een park, het is een prima combinatie hier!
We hebben een ree zien lopen, terwijl het al iets later in de ochtend was. Zo’n rustige plek!

Voor kinderen is er genoeg te spelen, binnen en buiten! Dat was een verrassing voor onze kleine!
Het huis is ruim ingedeeld en is groot naar onze beleving.

Ideaal dat levensmiddelen en andere voorraden gebruikt kunnen worden. Hierdoor grijp je niet mis aan het begin van de vakantie (op vaatwastabletten na bij ons) en je kunt wat je over hebt, laten staan!

De inrichting is sfeervol, praktisch en fijn. Met de grote ramen, vang je ondanks de bomen, nog veel licht en je kunt heerlijk naar buiten kijken.

Enkele aandachtspunten willen we niet ongenoemd laten:
De rookmelders zijn allemaal niet in gebruik. Voor de veiligheid lijkt het ons dat deze wel z.s.m. weer opgehangen worden..

Fine cottage, well equipped kitchen. Cozy furnishings. Good bed. Was a little less free than the picture suggests, viz in the middle of the forest with cottages on all sides.

Prima huisje, goed uitgeruste keuken. Gezellig ingericht. Goed bed. Lag wel iets minder vrij dan de foto suggereert, nl midden in het bos met huisjes aan alle kanten.

The small park is very quiet, especially when we were there (off season). The special thing about Gaasterland is that it has a relatively large amount of forest. Also from the cottage you can make walks through the woods. Furthermore, the IJsselmeer is very close by.

Het kleinschalige park is erg rustig, zeker toen wij er waren (buiten het seizoen). Het bijzondere aan Gaasterland is, dat het relatief veel bos kent. Ook vanuit het huisje maak je zo wandelingen door het bos. Verder is het IJsselmeer heel dichtbij.
